Provide the completed financial information form 1 and attach the document(s) that are outlined on the financial form.

Need-Based Statement

The parent or guardian of the student should submit a short need-based statement explaining the need for a tuition scholarship.

Audition/Interview Process

Auditions are scheduled for students who are currently studying an instrument at select times of the year.  If you are a new student, please schedule a time for an interview, and include any conflicts you may have. The student will be notified of their audition time and date. The student should have one piece or song prepared. All auditions are unaccompanied. If the student would like an accompanist, they can provide their own.

Deadline for 2012-2013 Scholarship Applications was May 14th, 2012. Auditions were held on Tuesday, May 22 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, May 24 from 4-6 p.m.  Students who filled out and returned a scholarship contacted the office to schedule their 10-minute audition.   A scholarship committee reviewed the scholarship applications after the auditions and sent out award notifications by e-mail and phone before July 1, 2012. New scholarship applications may be filled out and returned  if the above deadlines were missed and will be considered if additional funds become available.
